Dining Haunt:)

I wasn't a foodie lover before, but when I was assigned to our Business and Leisure Show and learned that we have a Food Trip segment I didn't realize that I could enhance my taste bud. My ultimate verdict, Italian menu is always be on top of my list but Filipino dishes is always exceptional:) I always share my passion for food with good friends who happens to share the same dining adventure with me. I know you would agree when I say that there are places who really stands out among the rest. The "one" who captivates our discriminating tastes and keep us coming back for more.

Since I admit that Italian Cuisine is on top of my list, I found one of my favorite Italian Restaurant that also serves as our taping/shooting destination for our lifestyle segment of Business and Leisure and that is Focaccia Restaurant which has their 1st branch at A.Venue mall then another one at Fort Strip Global City Fort Taguig. This is where I first tried the rolling pizza with alfa alfa and arugula before I chance upon the Yellow Cab billboard along C5 who also serves the same kind.

The space is just ample for an intimate dining experience. It is well lighted plus, the tables and chairs matched the white wall on the other side, while the other part of the wall is a colorful mirror-like board which you can write your dedications on it.

This other part of the wall is full of dedications from satisfied customers
Now to their menu is definitely two thumbs up. The rolling pizza is love plus their varieties of pasta. I tell you, their pasta is magnifico and I can definitely turn all the plates clean.

The Osso Buco, one of their main course that is a sure hit. Beef shank braised in red wine sauce.
Can't get enough with this Frutti Di Mare, seafood pasta in tomato cream sauce.
Try their Spinach Ravioli, creamy at its best.
For starter, the Soup Trio in pumpkin, mushroom, tomato and basil.
The star of the pizza menu, the Rolling Pizza and has 22 flavors to choose from.
This arugula and alfa alfa is the perfect combination for the rolling pizza.
One of our gorgeous hosts, Ida (Jada to her 89.1 wave listeners) digging in.
I guess you are now salivating to get a taste from all the best sellers from Focaccia. Head on now in A.Venue or in Fort Strip and have your al dente experience:) Let me just share also our dining experience at Classic Cuisine Megamall with my foodie buddies;) Their menu is wholly Filipino and I must say it is superb and the price is just right.

A must try! Bistek Walastik

Grace and Marvin Wedding

I remember I blogged sometime in August about the wedding preparation of our dear friend Grace, and how our other friend Jarvik got giddily excited with it, and I said I will leave you hanging there for a bit. Now, that long wait is over. I opened my September blog with Grace and Marvin wedding;) Surely, it was a whirlwind preparation of just a month, then Grace Ann Bernardo is now Grace Ann Bernardo-Timpog.

My beautiful friend, Grace Ann Bernardo

It was the first day of September. The gloomy weather was a perfect match with the emotional and tearful atmosphere of the bride soon as she walked down the aisle. The couple chose the Mt. Carmel Shrine Parish in New Manila Quezon City as their wedding venue (church and the reception). The "runway" of that church is long enough for the bride to walk in as well as giving her a "long" time to think of backing out. But nah, Grace marched gracefully as her groom Marvin excitingly waited for her in the altar.

the stunning and crying bride;)

the bunso and unica hija:)

The wedding organizer, Jarvik begun soft sobs that so contagious. We ended up sharing a piece of tissue. Sadly, there are only four of us who witnessed this special occasion in Grace's life. Aimee can't absent from her work, Faith was sick, Mabee is in Dubai  and Jess is in the States. Johan was the maid of horror este honor, Nicole as the commentator/assistant to the organizer, Jarvik the all-around and head organizer, and me her assistant too.

The Master and The Servant:)
It was our first time to organize a wedding and it didn't came as a breeze. From seat and photo arrangements, assisting the host, securing every program sequence, up to the final message from the newly weds, it was truly exhausting. But it was all worth it. All for the love of friendship:)

With the bride's father, tito Eddie;)

with Tony-bero the host;)
It was the day that Mrs. Timpog embraced the role of being a wife. It wouldn't be an easy journey but rather a challenging one. She's a wonderful woman inside and out, I'm sure she will do a job well done, of course with Marvin's love and support, they will both build a home that is bountiful with love, respect, and understanding;) And us her friends, we'll always be here goofing around, ready to back her up as always:) Congratulations again to the newly weds and best wishes! But hey, speaking of goofing around, we didn't pass this day without having fun, even just the few us;)
