my little best friend:)

Being the only girl in the family, I always have this feeling of wanting a sister. When I migrated here in Manila to pursue my college degree, God sent to our family our first baby and that is my eldest niece Andy:) After my class, I was always in a hurry to come home and play with her. Her cuteness and smartness is simply irresistible. Still in her crib, she definitely knows how to entertain the family. She would love to watch shampoo commercials and imitate it. Her sweet smile doesn't fail to captivate us. She is truly adorable.
she truly loves the camera
At the age of 2. we enrolled her as a toddler student where she continues to bring fondness among her teachers and classmates. She always come home with new songs that we always love to hear endlessly despite of her baby tune and unclear lyrics. Her mastery of ABC and other learning charts is truly outstanding. At the end of every school year, I am so proud of her for she always get a  recognition award. She continues to be good in school until now that she's in her primary schooling.

But what I really admire about Andy is our genuine relationship that doesn't only bound of being tita - pamangkin but the kind of friendship that we share with each other. We sometimes belittle the capabilities and skills of youngsters, but what we often don't realize is that they are good listener than the adults.

When I was still a student and so pissed with school requirements, Andy is intently listens to my whines and complains. She would pat my shoulder and say "that's ok tita", with that simple gesture I feel at ease. Now that I am working and life seems complicated at times, Andy is still there as the same, listening intently but very vocal with her honest opinion. And surprisingly, I found myself pondering every "young advises" that I can hear from her.
Now that she is more committed in her studies and much as I am committed with my "career", we spend less and less of time being together, and more so now that we I am moving out from my "home" for the past years. We may be physically apart with each other, my little best friend will always be a part of me and surely she will be missed:)
