Shoppe Unlimited; for every bag lovers

Admit it, every woman wants to have an expensive, classy, and elegant bag. We have that kind of "dream bag" that we wanted to get after we have saved from our hard earned payroll. And for us women, when we finally have it in our bare hands, the feeling is just priceless! I always think that Jinkee Pacquiao is one hell of a lucky lady, not because of her well surgeon beauty but because in a snap of her finger she can buy any bag she wants. I know she has a vast collection of Hermes bags, and let us also include her mother in law Nanay Dionisia in the list. For us not a Jinkee Pacquiao, we are satisfied if we able to purchase a good quality bag but a little pricey one. To cater the needs of many bag lovers nowadays, there are budding entrepreneurs who has creative minds to produce wonderful bags, but what is most exciting to know is their affordability, which old and young women bag collector can afford.

One such entrepreneur is Ms. Jackie Tan or Jacq as she is fondly called. Jacq is a self confess bag lover. When I get to first know her on facebook, I was immediately fascinated with her wide array of satchel bags. Instantly, I thought it is a good material to feature in our Strictly Business segment in our TV show Business and Leisure. It is always our mantra to feature local homegrown businesses who are innovative in coming up a product that we can proudly compare to imported ones. Right away, she agreed to be featured so we set a schedule. Jacq is very accomodating, she welcome us with a huge smile. As we enter into their home, bright and vivid colors of bags greeted us. They are neatly arranged by sizes, they comes on different hues, and different materials. It is like they are enticing you and saying "come and get me".

The beautiful Jackie Tan with her wonderful creation of bags.

Jackie happily shared to us that her first business venture is not actually creating these wonderful satchels. When online business started to flourished in popular social metworking sites like Facebook, she sells her pre-loved items like her clothes, and her baby stuffs. And from her usual trips abroad, she buys imported bags like Tory Burch, Michael Kors and others brands which she too sells online. With this type of bags, the market is too limited because of its prices. One customer has to invest to be able to buy and you have to count months before they will go back and buy again. Jackie then thought of why not make her own satchel bags which she can sell to young girls as well. As she visited to some bazaars, she noticed how cheap they are and how they appeal to masa crowd. She went off looking for her sewers and started to design her few numbers of satchels bags. In a blink of an eye after posting it on her Facebook page, all of her produced bags went sold out. From there she thought she has made a good decision on what kind of business she had to venture.

Her satchels are meticulously handmade and well tailored. She has also a wide selection designs like pastel, weavery, animal print and others. The pastel colors are well accepted by young girls because of its youthful colors and funky designs. The mix and match of different colors and designs are perfectly combined. What is much appreciated to Jackie's bags is that it can fit your ipad or small laptop. For as much as 900 and as low as 450 plus the shipping fee, you already get a bag that is preppy, handy, and affordable. Looks like an imported bag but a definitely locally made.

Another successful and wonderful business indeed. From a bag lover for bag lovers, Jackie definitely knows what every women wants in a bag. And for us in Business and Leisure, we are glad that many entrepreneurs are proud of producing Filipino made products that stand out amongst products abroad. Good luck to Shoppe Unlimited and hope to create more bags for every Filipina bag lovers. Go and feast your eyes to Shoppe Unlimited's satchels, sadies, and messenger bags.
